Our style is rooted in a documentary approach with a genuine focus on composition, natural light, and the quiet moments that make your wedding day uniquely yours. We don't over-pose or over-direct. We don't create manufactured moments that look great on camera but feel nothing like your actual relationship. Instead, we observe closely, we anticipate, and we create just enough structure to give you freedom — then we step back and let things happen. The result is a gallery that feels authentic, cohesive, deeply personal, and emotionally alive. When you flip through your wedding photos twenty years from now, you should feel like you're right back in that day.
Our editing style is cinematic and true-to-tone, deeply influenced by the richness and texture of film photography. We don't chase trends. We don't over-brighten, over-saturate, or apply heavy presets that will look dated in five years. Every wedding is edited individually to honor the actual light, palette, and mood of your specific day. Whether you're getting married in a sunlit garden at noon or a candlelit ballroom at midnight, your photos will feel timeless — not like a trend, and not like anyone else's wedding.
We work with couples who value authenticity and want a photographer who will show up not just as a vendor but as someone genuinely invested in your day. We love love stories that are complicated and tender and full of humor. We love big families and tiny ceremonies and everything in between. With years of experience photographing weddings in Charleston, the broader Southeast, and destinations across the globe, we've learned to move quietly through any venue, read any crowd, and find the images that matter — even in the most chaotic moments of the most beautifully unpredictable days.
We're Georgia and Micah, a husband-and-wife wedding photography team based in Charleston, South Carolina. We specialize in cinematic, documentary-style wedding photography for couples who want their wedding day captured honestly — with warmth, intention, and images that will still move you twenty years from now. Our work takes us all over the world, but Charleston will always be home base, and there is nowhere we love shooting more than the Lowcountry.
Travel is woven into the fabric of who we are, and we feel genuinely lucky that our work takes us all over the world. From Tuscany to Tulum, the Hudson Valley to the coast of Croatia, every destination shapes how we see light, how we move through a space, and how we tell a story. We believe the best wedding photography happens when a couple feels comfortable and seen, not posed or directed. So we show up as ourselves — curious, present, a little bit funny — and we let the day unfold naturally in front of our cameras.
When we're home in Charleston, you'll usually find us hanging out with our golden retriever, Cru. She's the real boss around here and she will absolutely steal your heart if you ever swing by the studio. We love the Lowcountry deeply — the moss-draped oaks, the salt marsh light at golden hour, the way this city moves at its own pace. It grounds us, and it keeps us grateful.
